Brescia University, an Ursuline, Catholic institution, seeks a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Psychology to teach both upper and lower-division undergraduate courses (and an occasional Master’s in Clinical Psychology course) beginning August 2020. Duties include teaching online and on-campus psychology courses both to psychology majors and to general education students, advising students, and serving on University committees.
Candidates with a Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology and/or candidates who have credentials for or experience in clinical practice will be given preference. Candidates may also be considered with an M.S. in Clinical Psychology with college/university teaching experience (non-terminal degree candidates will be non-tenure-track).
Ideal candidates will provide evidence of teaching effectiveness and an interest in innovative teaching methods, including active learning.
