The Department of Psychological Science at Boise State University (https://www.boisestate.edu/psychology/) invites interested applicants to apply for the position of Assistant Professor beginning in Fall 2020, with an area of specialization in the biological bases of behavior, broadly defined (e.g., genetic contributions to behavior, neuroscience, psychoneuroendocrinology).
We are seeking a dedicated teacher and researcher to support our existing undergraduate curriculum. The successful candidate will have the ability to engage students in the classroom and through a program of research. This is a nine-month tenure track position, with opportunities for salary enhancement through summer teaching and work on externally-funded research projects.
The Department of Psychological Science boasts a highly interdisciplinary faculty with a strong history of success in teaching, research, and service. We have active relationships with multiple organizations in the community, including state agencies, schools, and a variety of non-profit organizations.
