The 2023-2024 Annual Conference will be offered in two modalities.  ACT: On Location will have on-site programming at the Hilton Portland Downtown in Portland, Oregon from October 5-7.  On-site programming will begin the evening of Thursday, October 5th with a welcome reception. Friday and Saturday will include two full days of symposia, keynotes, posters and other opportunities to engage. Programming ends by dinner-time on Saturday, October 7th. Your On-Location registration fee includes the following meals and snacks:

• Thursday hors d'oeuvres during the welcome reception
• Friday continental breakfast
• Friday lunch during Participation Idea Exchanges (PIEs) 
• Friday hors d'oeuvres during the poster session
• Saturday lunch during "Live from Portland" (live teaching demos) 
• Coffee breaks throughout

If you would prefer to participate in the conference virtually, we invite you to register for the ACT: Online rate, which will grant you access to virtual content. We will have a variety of on-demand offerings available for you at our 2023-2024 ACT Website (forthcoming), including recordings of a selection of keynotes and symposia from the on-site conference. On-site presenters will also be invited to upload their materials to the ACT Website. Additionally, a schedule of synchronous online programming will be offered February 12-16, 2024. Both on-ground and on-line attendees will have full access to the virtual offerings through the 2023 ACT website, which will remain open until October 1, 2024. Schedules for all programming will be made available as we draw closer to the conference.

Please note that we have modified the registration process.  Previously, all non-members who registered for the conference received a one-year membership in the Society for the Teaching of Psychology—the difference in the conference registration rates for non-members vs. members was equivalent to the price of a one-year membership in STP.  To simplify our financial records, we are now requesting non-members to first register for STP membership before registering for ACT.  This does not modify the cost of the conference for any attendee; it just simplifies our registration process. If you need to revise or cancel your registration, please send an email to the Conference Director, Lindsay Masland, at maslandlc@appstate.edu and copy the Executive Director at stp@teachpsych.org. Please make your revision or cancellation requests by 9/15/23 to ensure appropriate refunds and/or billing.

*Registration for the Writing Workshop is only available to those who have been accepted into the program. Writing Workshop participants do not need to register separately for the conference; that is, they should register once at the $180 rate (for On Location attendees) or the $25 rate (for Online attendees), using the registration code provided to all accepted participants. 

Virtual content from last year's 2022 Annual Conference on Teaching is still available until October 1, 2023.  If you'd like to gain access to this content, you can register for online-only access for $25.
