POSITION Full-time Assistant or Associate Professor in tenure-track faculty position in the Psychology program.
QUALIFICATIONS: Broadly trained Ph.D. with expertise in one or more of the following areas: social psychology, developmental psychology, neuropsychology, or experimental psychology more broadly. Evidence of scholarship and a research program that can involve undergraduates. College level teaching and/or post-doctoral experience preferred.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Preference will be given to candidates who demonstrate the ability to teach one or more of the following courses: Abnormal Psychology, Developmental Psychology, Social Psychology, Neuropsychology
Teaching load (typically four courses a semester) will be determined based on candidate expertise and departmental needs. We seek someone enthusiastic about mentoring students into a variety of psychology careers. Applicants must have a strong commitment to serving and working within a community of diverse learners. Interest and skill in teaching for graduate students in biomedicine is a plus.
POSITION DETAILS: Nine-month contract, 24 semester hours per year. Salary determined by education and experience. EMU uses a tenure with post-tenure review contract system.
