Clinical Psychological Science, Indiana University-Bloomington: The Department of Psychological & Brain Sciences

Indiana University-Bloomington:  The Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences is seeking applications for a clinical assistant professor to contribute to a new, highly innovative, and rigorous Bachelor of Science degree program in Clinical Psychological Science.  The program provides undergraduates with classroom and practicum-based training in experimental psychopathology and evidence-based assessment, intervention, dissemination, and implementation following a clinical science training model. Candidates who view these topics through the lens of diversity science, translational or transdiagnostic methods, and/or clinical informatics and scalable solutions may fit especially well with our vision for this new undergraduate major.  Job duties consist primarily of undergraduate teaching as well as community outreach and coordination and supervision of applied clinical experiences (i.e., internships & practica).  This will be a full-time non-tenure track, faculty appointment beginning with a 3 year renewable appointment, with promotion opportunities to Associate Clinical Professor and then Full Clinical Professor, based demonstrated excellence in teaching and/or service. We seek candidates who will increase the college and department’s commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion through their teaching, service, and/or lived experience.

Minimum qualification is a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at the time of the appointment August 1, 2022.  Preferred qualifications include training in the clinical science model of clinical psychology with PCSAS or similar accreditation; undergraduate teaching experience; and supervision and clinical experience in evidence-based services.

Interested candidates should review the application requirements, including a letter of interest, CV, teaching statement, diversity, equity, and inclusion statement, and reference letters, and submit their application at https://indiana.peopleadmin.com/postings/11687. Review of applications will begin January 3, 2022 and continue until the position is filled.
