Tenure Track Positions in School and Social - Appalachian State

    The Department of Psychology at Appalachian State University seeks applicants for two tenure-track positions starting Fall 2022: an Assistant or Associate Professor in School Psychology (job description) and an Assistant Professor in Social Psychology (job description).

    Candidates from racially and ethnically minoritized backgrounds and those who will advance diversity, equity, and inclusion through their teaching, research, and service are strongly encouraged to apply.

    The Psychology Department has 38 full-time faculty members (34 doctoral, 30 tenure-track) with master’s programs in Experimental, Industrial-Organizational and Human Resource Management, and School Psychology, as well as a newly launched Doctor of Psychology Program in Clinical Psychology (established Fall 2019). There are more than 1000 undergraduate psychology majors and approximately 80 full-time graduate students.
