The Department of Psychology at Marietta College invites applications for a full-time visiting professor position beginning in the Fall of 2021. This position is for a 3-year term. Area of specialization is open as we look to complement the areas of expertise of existing faculty. We seek to hire a gifted and enthusiastic teacher to teach several courses such as Introduction to Psychology, Statistics for the Behavioral Sciences, and Research Methods, as well as undergraduate and graduate courses in their area(s) of expertise. The Department of Psychology offers a collegial work environment, a popular and growing undergraduate major, an interdisciplinary neuroscience program and a M.A. program in general psychology. Also housed within the Psychology Department is a Master's Program in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Candidates should have a Ph.D. in Psychology by the start of the position and demonstrate the desire and willingness to involve undergraduate and graduate students in their area of research.
