The Psychology Department at Eastern Illinois University has an opening for a full-time (9-month) Assistant Professor, tenure-track faculty position beginning August 2018. Duties include teaching graduate courses in clinical psychology and undergraduate courses in psychology, maintaining an active research program, supervising graduate student theses and practicum/internship experiences, and participating in service to the department and university. Individuals should also demonstrate commitment to diversity and experience with promoting inclusive excellence.
Candidates are expected to have a doctoral degree (Ph.D.) from an APA-accredited clinical psychology program, although ABD candidates will be considered. Other requirements include demonstrated evidence of teaching excellence at the college/university level and a commitment to research and scholarly work.
